In 1999 BBC Audio books released four missing Doctor Who stories on CD as TV soundtracks. They used linking narration from a member of the original cast to provide information in the scenes with no dialogue. Since then, all of the missing or partially missing stories have been released on CD, as well as some existing stories featuring the Third and Fifth Doctors. Since 2005 each release has included a bonus interview with the narrator.
