History of Egypt Edit
A time rift existed in ancient Egypt, being one of several fractures created by Kadiatu Lethbridge-Stewart's time travelling. The Seventh Doctor explained that these fractures could not be mended, and that they damaged the space-time they passed through. (PROSE: Set Piece)
Around 5000 BC, the Osirans visited Egypt during their battle with Sutekh and were worshipped as gods. (TV: Pyramids of Mars) One Osiran, Thoueris, attempted to capitalise on this by demanding tributes from the natives, and feeding those who did not comply to crocodiles. She was later defeated and killed by crocodiles under the Eighth Doctor's control. (COMIC: The Power of Thoueris!) Khnum may have been a Dæmon or a race memory of one. (TV: The Dæmons)
In 1334 BC, the Eleventh Doctor stopped what he described as a "weapons bearing giant alien locust attack" in ancient Egypt. He met Queen Nefertiti during this adventure. She was attracted to the Doctor, and travelled with him along with Riddell, Amy Pond, Rory Williams, and Brian Williams, to the Silurian Ark in 2367. (TV: Dinosaurs on a Spaceship)

Between 2007 and 2009, Donna Noble went to Egypt for two weeks in a failed attempt to bring excitement to her life after her encounter with the Tenth Doctor. Captivated by the idea of walking through Egyptian sand, she planned to go barefoot, but her disappointment with the country led her to abandon this idea. She described Egypt as "tourism, guidebooks, don't drink the water, and back home." (TV: Partners in Crime)
Unknown dates Edit
In the 44th century on Christmas Eve, the Eleventh Doctor, Kazran Sardick and Abigail Pettigrew travelled through time and space in the Doctor's TARDIS, visiting Egypt on an unspecified date. (TV: A Christmas Carol)
Alternate timeline Edit
Behind the scenes Edit
According to the non-narrative based book, The Brilliant Book 2012, in 1881, Madame Vastra helped a group of archaeologists to excavate a tomb, with the intention of eating any mummies that were found inside.
