Tardis

Every Boy's Book of the English Civil Wars was a book from the TARDIS.

It was published in November 1920 by B.T. Batsford Limited, London and Malvern Wells by Unwin Brothers Limited, the Gresham Press, Woking, Surrey. The picture on its cover showed a Cavalier and a Roundhead fighting, each on horseback, one with a pistol, the other a sword.

The Second Doctor and Jamie used it to get out of prison by "telling future" for Oliver Cromwell. Later, Richard Cromwell found this book. The information he read about his and his father's future necessitated the Doctor to hypnotise him and make him forget it. (PROSE: The Roundheads)
