Anna Hope (born 1974[1]) played Novice Hame in the Doctor Who stories New Earth, Gridlock and Tardisode 1. She later reprised her role in the Big Finish Productions audio stories Escape from New New York and The Cats of New Cairo, and then again in the Doctor Who: Lockdown! webcast, The Secret of Novice Hame.
Hope also played D.I. Patricia Menzies in the Sixth Doctor Big Finish audio stories, The Condemned, The Raincloud Man, The Crimes of Thomas Brewster and The Avenues of Possibility. She is one of a handful of actors to have originated one recurring character on the television programme and a totally different one in the Big Finish audios.
Hope's first novel, Wake, was published in January 2014.
