Asif Khan played Ramesh Sunder in the Doctor Who television stories The Woman Who Fell to Earth and Spyfall, and Jay Roy in the Shutdown audio story Power Cell.
He was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire. Asif studied at the University of Bradford, and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Aside from acting, Asif Khan has also written a number of stage plays.
In 2013, he won a BAFTA for his role in the Channel 4 programme Plot to Bring Down Britain's Planes.
