Haag was a Dominator sent on a mission to find fuel for his fleet. He and his Quarks came to Earth in 1984 and set up base in a dormant volcano in Iceland, where his efforts to acquire the planet's core caused an increase in volcanic and seismic activity. Major Whitaker of UNIT and Dr Iskander tracked the source of the disturbances to Haag's base and learned of his plans. The UNIT team redirected the Dominator's drilling apparatus at his spacecraft, creating an explosion which destroyed the aliens and caused a volcanic eruption. (COMIC: The Fires Down Below)
