Datastore 8 was a planet inhabited by humanoids, home to a great scientific civilisation. Its tectonic plates were bonded together by lines of pure electromagnetism. The civilisation was built on learning and raised on the study of quantum mechanics and temporal understanding.
A Nimon once descended on the planet in a ball of fire, trying to persuade the inhabitants that he was a god. He was met by the Eleventh Doctor who told him that the planet is from now on under his protection and send him away. (COMIC: Space in Dimension Relative and Time)
Alternate timeline[]
In an alternate timeline, without the Doctor's interference, the Nimon was successful in his deception. He sucked the planet dry of all resources, knowledge and energy, causing a total destruction of Datastore 8. (COMIC: Space in Dimension Relative and Time)
