Enrico "Rico" Casali was a communications officer aboard the Wheel.
Biography[]
Enrico Casali came from Italy. (PROSE: The Wheel in Space) By 2000, (TV: The Mind Robber; AUDIO: Prison in Space) 2079 (AUDIO: The Dying Light) or later (PROSE: The Indestructible Man) he was working on the Wheel as a communications officer (PROSE: The Wheel in Space) under Captain Leo Ryan.
Casali tried to make contact with Silver Carrier as it approached the Wheel and later determined that the meteorites to be directed towards them by the Hercules 208 nova would be four magnitudes higher than the previous meteor storm. He gave the all-clear to survey party to board the Wheel with bernalium and helped Ryan operate the laser. Following the Cybermen's defeat, Casali contacted Earth Central. (TV: The Wheel in Space)
