Early life[]
Felicity Lyme married several times and did not look back on her second husband fondly. She financed the material science, biochemical and physics facilities at King Henry's University and kept an eye out for promising students to join Lyme Industries. (AUDIO: Power Cell)
The energy cell[]
Lyme learnt of the Kamishi energy cell from Kenton Eastwood and, following John Harrison's disappearance, took over the lab and removed the UNIT technology to Lyme Industries headquarters, (AUDIO: Power Cell) building a generator based on the energy cell. (AUDIO: Ice Station Alpha) She allied herself with Sir Peter Latcham and hired Cerberus Global Solutions for security.
Lyme prevented Kate Stewart from getting access to the lab at King Henry's and correctly suspected her and Josh Carter of having broken in on the night that the Tengobushi attacked and killed Dr Eastwood. Once she had no further use of the UNIT technology, she allowed Kate to reclaim it all, including the energy cell, and later made a toast to victory with Sir Peter. Josh kidnapped Lyme as she was on her way to Santiago and took her to the Tower of London where she admitted to Kate that Professor Harrison had told Dr Eastwood about the energy cell. Sir Peter intervened and she left to catch her flight. (AUDIO: The Battle of the Tower)
At Ice Station Alpha, Lyme showed a group of important people in the energy business around, unaware that Sam Bishop had infiltrated the group. Sir Peter alerted her when Kate, Petronella Osgood and Josh escaped the UNIT base beneath the Rock of Gibraltar and she had Commander Bergem prepare Cerberus for combat. When Kate and Sam arrived, she separated the two of them and was later transmatted aboard the Kamishi ship where Kate used a memory agent on her to erase her knowledge of Kamishi science, telling her that humanity could not take shortcuts. Later life[]
UNIT used a Lyme Industries weather station to artificially affect the Gulf Stream and make it snow in the United Kingdom to combat the Silurians. Once Jastrok was defeated, Kate planned to meet with Lyme to discuss fuel subsidies to keep the country operating in the artificial winter. (AUDIO: United)
