Biography[]
Shortly after the Cyberman invasion was defeated, Jimmy married Isobel Watkins, and was posted to Sri Lanka, (PROSE: The Scales of Injustice) where he was promoted to major. (PROSE: The Devil Goblins from Neptune) Before travelling to Sri Lanka, Mike Yates sought out Major Turner and his wife to ask about the Doctor. (PROSE: The Scales of Injustice)
However, according to another differing account, Jimmy's career in the Army was threatened and he was forced to leave Isobel when, due to the machinations of C19, she became a standing joke on Fleet Street when her claims about Earth being invaded by aliens were not believed, and her photographs of the Cybermen were dismissed as fakes. It was also speculated that Watkins (a suspected fascist) began her relationship with Captain Turner in an attempt to infiltrate UNIT and the wider British Armed Forces. (PROSE: Who Killed Kennedy)
