Particle gun

The particle gun was a weapon acquired by Torchwood One. It took them eight years to get it to work. When Yvonne Hartman presented it to the Tenth Doctor, he told her that she couldn't have a particle gun as it was the 21st century. She replied, "We must defend our border against the aliens."
