Platform Five was a luxurious hotel located in the atmosphere of Jobis.
The First Doctor, Ian Chesterton, Barbara Wright and Vicki Pallister visited the hotel and were able to convince the staff that they had reserved a room. After spending several days there, the Doctor left Platform Five for another satellite being used for research. While he was away the Rocket Men attacked every platform on Jobis and claimed the planet as their own. Platform Five was severely damaged during this fight. (AUDIO: The Rocket Men)
