IndexReference desk archives → Did David Tennant use a different TARDIS exterior prop than Christopher Eccleston?
Spoilers are strongly policed here.
If this thread's title doesn't specify it's spoilery, don't bring any up.

I've asked this question on Doctor Who Answers and got a very short answer no, but I want to discuss this more on here. Recently, Christopher Eccleston's TARDIS prop was put up for auction and got over £10000 for it. There is no mention of Tennant, which makes me think that Tennant used a different one. Did he? I mean, after Eccleston left, did they create another prop for use or was there only one used in Tennant's era, the one that Eccleston used? The Thirteenth Doctor 22:40, June 24, 2010 (UTC)

In Eccleston's era it was made out of wood.
For Tennant's first story The Christmas Invasion the prop was re-built in fibreglass.
