Some HTML will no longer work. Or, why aren't things centered anymore?

Active forumsWikia, like the rest of the web, are moving on to HTML 5.0. This means that a few older HTML codes will no longer work. The codes marked as deprecated at Help:HTML are either not functioning as of today, or won't be very soon.
What's going away
Edit
The biggies are by far things that affected tables and some templates:
- <strike>
- <center>
- <font>
I'm going to try to get rid of these statements over the next month using the bot. However, it might not work so well. If you see some tables that just aren't centered any more, or that seem to have different font properties than they used to, please lets me know. It might help me develop a strategy for removing them from pages.
A gentle reminder
Edit
I'd also like to take this opportunity to remind people that HTML placed directly on pages is Frowned upon by policy. Pages really shouldn't have ever been using direct HTML. It is a simple quality of internet coding that HTML tags are periodically created and phased out. By keeping HTML use to just the template namespace, changeovers are extraordinarily easy. You simply snip out the deprecated statement and put in the new one.
But by using HTML directly on individual pages, the task of wiki management is made unnecessarily more difficult.

- I think some code must've stopped working, because forum pages are now completely yellow instead of just having a yellow box. Digifiend 01:44, July 11, 2012 (UTC)
- i notice that too, except for me the forum pages are completely green instead of yellow. in fact, looking at other namespaces, they all seem to be completely one colour instead of boxed like before. i'm assuming this is on purpose? Imamadmad talk to me 10:04, July 15, 2012 (UTC)
- It is, but the above two posters aren't talking about the topic of this thread. This thread announces a phasing out of a few HTML commands. They're talking about a deliberate CSS change, as outlined at Forum:Color/font coding of namespaces.
