George Mortimer was the husband of Helen Mortimer and the father of Ida and Alan Mortimer. They all stumbled into the Doctor's TARDIS when the First Doctor materialised it outside their burning house during the Great Fire of London. They believed him a warlock and the TARDIS powered by magic. They travelled with him to the Andromeda Galaxy in the far future. (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Invasion from Space)
