A German soldier was abducted from World War I by the War Lords and hypnotised into believing he was still fighting in the War when he participated in the War Lords' War Games.
He and another soldier commandeered Lady Jennifer Buckingham's ambulance in no man's land, with the Second Doctor, Jamie McCrimmon and Zoe Heriot inside. However, it was soon recaptured by Lieutenant Carstairs and the two German soldiers were taken prisoner.
He, like all the surviving victims of the War Lords, was returned home by the Time Lords. (TV: The War Games)
