Groundhog Day was a 1994 film (PROSE: Touched by an Angel) and one of Maxwell Edison's favourites. He "must have watched it a hundred times", which he and the Fifth Doctor found rather ironic in retrospect. Maxwell brought it up as a comparison to Stockbridge, a village stuck in a time bubble and revisiting the same days every single day for 60 years. (AUDIO: The Eternal Summer)

"Groundhog Day" was used as an expression by both Rose Tyler and the Seventh Doctor to indicate the experience of being caught in a time loop. (COMIC: Interstellar Overdrive, AUDIO: No Man's Land)

Behind the scenes Edit

In the film Groundhog Day, the main character is caught in a loop and forced to live the events of one particular Groundhog Day over and over again.
