Captain Sam Hawkins was a UNIT officer who served under Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart. He was engaged to Corporal Maisy Hawke, when he fought Silurians at Wenley Moor and was killed by one of them. (TV: Doctor Who and the Silurians, PROSE: The Scales of Injustice)
