Humphrey Picton

Sir Humphrey Picton was a British radio astronomer and the teacher of Dr. Louis French. He and the Doctor came to Australia to observe his student's test run of the radio wave accelerator he developed. Sir Humphrey was very proud of French's accomplishments, and did not believe the Doctor's claims that use of the accelerator would be disastrous. (TVC: Is Anyone There?)
