"I'm Gonna Spend My Christmas With A Dalek" was a narrative pop song sung by The Go-Go's in 1964. It was produced to capitalise on the popularity of the the Daleks at the time; an ostensibly parodical effort, it featured an unusually friendly Dalek spending Christmas with a little girl from Earth; the song was sung from the girl's perspective and featured inserts of spoken dialogue from the Dalek himself.
It was used to illustrate some (then silent) footage from The Daleks' Master Plan on the Daleks: The Early Years video release.

- The Dalek develops a taste for plum pudding and custard, and the girl also plans to feed him some sugar spice. This all stands in contrast to the later datum (established as early as 1965's The Dalek World) that Daleks do not eat conventional food, although the parodical nature of the song's narrative more than excuses this lapse in in-universe consistency.
