IDW
From TARDIS Index File, the free Doctor Who reference.
The prefix IDW stands for material initially published by the US comic publisher, IDW Publishing. They won the 21st century license to publish new material based on the BBC Wales version of Doctor Who in North America, and began telling new adventures starting with the Tenth Doctor. On occasion, their work also featured some new glimpses of past Doctors.
IDW also published a series of reprints of material that originally appeared Doctor Who Magazine. This reprint work, however, should generally be cited with the prefix DWM, in deference to its publication of origin.
