- Thomas Carnacki was an Edwardian supernatural detective created by William Hope Hodgson. He originally appeared in six short stories in the magazine The Idler from 1910 to 1912. In terms of the Whoniverse, the character previously appeared in PROSE: Foreign Devils.
- Marcus Hutton (Thomas Carnacki) previously played Sgt. Leigh in TV: The Curse of Fenric, Marcus Stafford, Duke of Buckingham in AUDIO: The Church and the Crown and George Villiers, Duke of Buckingham in AUDIO: The Kingmaker.
