The Isolus pod was the spacecraft for the Isolus. It was small enough to fit into the palm of a human hand, and required heat and the warmth of the symbol of an emotion like love to work.
One Isolus pod landed in London in 2012, and the Isolus inside escaped. The pod was paved into the road by proud and conscientious government worker, Kel, who afterwards spent some of his time helping to push cars past the spot where they stalled because the pod absorbed their energy. Rose Tyler dug it up with a pickaxe and it worked again when she chucked it into the flame of the Olympic torch, a beacon of love. (TV: Fear Her)
