Jabe was a representative of the Forest of Cheem.

Biography Edit

In the year 5,000,000,000, Jabe had come to see the destruction of Earth from Platform One. Her ancestors were from a tropical rainforest on Earth.

Upon meeting the Ninth Doctor, she took an immediate interest in him. After discovering his true heritage, she felt grief at the loss of an entire species, with him as the only survivor. She captured a metal spider, which revealed Lady Cassandra as being behind sabotage on the platform and the death of the Steward. As a backup plan, Cassandra blew up her other spiders, disabling the platform's safety.

In the air conditioning, Jabe sacrificed her life by holding down the switch that allowed the Doctor to pass through the fans and reactivate the safety. She burnt to death under the immense heat that came through. (TV: The End of the World)

The Tenth Doctor recalled Jabe, along with others, when Davros made him think about all those who died in his name. (TV: Journey's End)

The Eleventh Doctor still remembered Jabe 203 years after his meeting with her. (TV: The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe))

Personality Edit

Even though she only knew him for a short period of time, Jabe was very loyal to the Ninth Doctor, acting like one of his companions. She was filled with grief for him after discovering that he was the last of the Time Lords. She was also very brave and selfless, giving her life so that the Doctor could save everyone on Platform One. (TV: The End of the World)
