Jack's mother was a widow. Her husband had been killed by a Tyrannosaurus rex in England. She used to be a nurse, but hadn't worked since her husband died. She rarely left the house, but she and Jack went to the market every Saturday.
Some nights she would get drunk and listen to her vinyl records. One Saturday at the market she found a recordable CD player. She bought some blank CDs and planned to record all her albums on CD. (PROSE: Kept Safe and Sound)
