James Appleby (21 January 1932-April 1992) appeared in two Doctor Who stories: as a policeman in The Faceless Ones and a guard in The Masque of Mandragora. He had previously had uncredited roles as a prisoner in The Dalek Invasion of Earth (DWM 280), a galley slave and a courtier in The Romans (DWM 251) and a guard in The Massacre (DWM 233).
