Captain Jane Clancy led the investigation of the planet Hydron to find valuable minerals in the oceans. In the Cosmic Rover she ordered the Ocean Explorer to be dropped to the planet. Fleming, head of security, mutinied successfully. She learnt that he wanted fish roe because it would make him rich. She was held on the command deck by Fleming's men. She was pleased to hear the Eleventh Doctor's voice when he arrived with the Marine Adventurer. She took back her command. (PROSE: The Underwater War)
