Jean Airey is an American writer and Doctor Who fan who has written at least two unique books related to the franchise.

Her first publication became the fanzine The Doctor and the Enterprise. An edited version of the book was later published by Pioneer Books. This publication was without Airey's permission.

With Laurie Haldeman, she co-wrote Travel Without the TARDIS, one of the only reference works published by Target Books. In it the authors indexed the various filming locations for the series.

Airey was a regular columnist for the semi-professional publication Fantasy Empire and later worked for Starlog, to which she contributed interviews and photographs of actors and production personnel from various science fiction series.
