Joel Finch was the partner of Gabby Finch. Together, they were transported back in time from 2015 to 1511 by a Weeping Angel. Joel was a fan of Michelangelo.
Joel met Gabby while they were both working at a school. Joel taught history and Gabby taught physics. In 2015, they married. For their honeymoon, the pair embarked on a sightseeing holiday to Italy.
