John Bell (born 20 October 1997) played Creet in the Doctor Who television story Utopia. He won the role in a Blue Peter competition. He was not informed at the time that his character would die, but recalled being overjoyed.
Doctor Who was John Bell's first role. He later starred in the film A Shine of Rainbows, played Anthony Weaver in Life of Riley, and finally Bain in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and The Battle of the Five Armies.
