John Forester died on 27 July 1913 at age seventy-six in La Boca, Argentina. Prior to death, he had been divorced. He was promoted in the US Army on 22 July 1912. Rex Matheson speculated that he was in Mr Giardano's cellar with Jack Harkness. (TV: The Gathering)
