Jresta was a Menoptera student of the Techno-Web. She was looked down upon for not being born with wings, a genetic rarity for Menoptras'. She was called a "Cripple".
Jresta, along with her team, was sent to investigate strange energy emissions. She was knocked unconscious. When the Fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane found her, she had lost her memory of the events. Versus came to investigate what had occurred to her team and her, only to discover they had been killed by an energy field created by Clynex, Jresta's flightlessness was the only thing that had saved her. After the Doctor destroyed Clynex, she was pleased to see that three "Cripples" had just done Versus' job for him. (COMIC: The Naked Flame)
