Judoon blasters are the weapons carried by the Judoon. The guns shoot out a red energy beam, which will disintegrate an organic target in one shot, and have been seen to shoot through glass without difficulty and make holes in walls. Like most of the Judoons' technology, the blasters are red in colour. The blasters take a few seconds to charge as seen when a trio of Judoon blast the Doctor and Matha Jones when the Doctor is identified as a non-human. It is difficult, but not impossible, to avoid the energy discharge. (DW: Smith and Jones) The weapons had seemingly been advanced slightly by 2010 as when Captain Tybo crashed on Earth his blaster had a much more rapid rate of fire and required no time to charge as shown when he shot at Androvax several times with short laser bursts.
