Kavel was a slave on Nixyce VII. Liv treated his injuries. He was the hawk. When he regained consciousness he wanted to get off the Dalek control ship. He caused the explosions on the planet as a way to get the Daleks off the planets. He helped the Eighth Doctor to complete his plan. (AUDIO: The Traitor)
