Kavell was a Kaled scientist and member of the Scientific Elite
Biography[]
Kavell worked in the Scientific Elite's bunker beneath the Kaled Dome under their chief scientist Davros towards the end of the Thousand Year War. He was also in charge of communications with the dome and informed Ronson that the Fourth Doctor and Harry Sullivan had reached the dome.
After Davros had Ronson killed, Kavell began to plot with Gharman to destroy Davros' power. He later freed Gharman, Sarah Jane Smith and Harry from their prison cell. (TV: Genesis of the Daleks)
Behind the scenes[]
- BBC Records sent a contract to Tom Georgeson asking permission to use his performance as Kavell on the Genesis of the Daleks LP, but he failed to sign and return this. Although it was originally planned that the material would be edited out of the recording, a single scene from part five featuring Kavell was used on the final release,[1] though Georgeson was not credited on the record sleeve.
