Lachele Carl is the actress who plays American newsreader, Trinity Wells in Doctor Who. She has appeared in several episodes as the character including appearances in spin-off's The Sarah Jane Adventures and Torchwood. (In one episode of Doctor Who, it is implied that the character is also known by the name "Mal Loup".)
She is also the only actress to have appeared not only in Doctor Who, but in its two spin-off shows.
