Lin Futu was a Chinese mandarin during the Futu dynasty. He and other Chinese people were abducted by Monarch on his third visit to Earth and converted into androids. Lin Futu was promised that he would rule over Asia once the planet had been conquered. After the Doctor convinced him that Monarch was lying, he agreed to help convince Villagra and Kurkutji of the truth. Afterwards, the androids decided to look for another planet on which to settle. Historically, there was no Futu dynasty in Chinese history.
