Marlern Jarl was a time sensitive. He was born on Halos V in an alternate timeline 500 years after the Nazis on Earth had developed space travel and created an interstellar empire. He was kidnapped by Monica Lamprey so she could feed on Marlern's chronon energy. However, he had none, but she kept him alive as leverage over the others she had taken.
