Matthew Hywel-Davies

Matthew Hywel-Davies is a construction manager on the BBC Wales version of Doctor Who. He began work on the programme with The Christmas Invasion and has been credited in the position on almost every episode through series 5. He has also worked in this capacity on the first episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures and on many episodes of the first three series of Torchwood.
Before Doctor Who, Hywel-Davies was a carpenter or construction manager on several films primarily made in the southwest of the United Kingdom. His career began in the 1990s.
