Mike Power was a technician who worked on the 1963-1989 run of Doctor Who.

He was most notable for his role as the software designer for the Kamelion prop, which first appeared in The King's Demons. When the decision was made to create the character, an actual android was used in place of an actor in silver make-up. The prop was found from a local junkyard, and Power was appointed to re-adapt its functions so that it could be operated during filming. However, not too long after Power's work was finished and the android was accepted for filming, he tragically died in a boating accident and it was discovered he had never written fully detailed instructions on how to operate Kamelion — thus making the prop extremely difficult to work with.
