Mrs Moynihan was a resident in Lanyon Moor who was tempted into helping Sancreda in his plans to take revenge on his brother for abandoning him on Earth. She was promised opportunity and power if she crossed the world to Greece to pick up Sancreda's power source, a psionic amplifier, kept within a museum in Athens. After returning it to Sancreda, she was pleased to see him rise from his deathbed.
However, she was tricked, as the Sixth Doctor had anticipated. While Sancreda dreamed of his revenge he wasn't inclined to help Mrs Moynihan and forced her dogs upon her using psychic empathy. She was mauled to death. (AUDIO: The Spectre of Lanyon Moor)
