The Myakians were an alien species. Henry Parker obtained a pair of their wings. Torchwood Three noted that it was either no longer functional, or just out of power. They determined it was no danger as it was unlikely that anyone would ever find a means of recharging it. Torchwood Three noted it was perfectly preserved, with no damage, good colour and "extremely pretty." (WEB: torchwood.org.uk)
