Ned Cotton was a London nightwatchman in the early 18th century. He attempted to force himself on Hannah Fry, but was interrupted by Turlough. The next night Hannah, disguised as Major Billy Lovemore, shot and killed Cotton out of revenge. (BFA: Phantasmagoria)
