Norway (Norge) (TV: The Bounty Hunter) was a nation in Scandinavia. (AUDIO: Project Lazarus) The Fourth Doctor once told Romana II was called the "Land of the Midnight Sun". According to him, the sun shone "all night there". (PROSE: A Midsummer's Nightmare) Norway bordered Sweden to the east. (TV: The Bounty Hunter) Svalbard and Bjornoya were territories of Norway. Norway was a part of World War II. By August 1940, they had been conquered by Nazi Germany.
