In 1939, the Germans unleashed new magnetic naval mines against the Royal Navy. November was an especially pivotal month of turning points for Earth's history in 1963. The Fifth Doctor told Nyssa that England suffered a particularly cold winter in November 1963 as they exited the TARDIS on their way to Bob Dovie's house at 59A Barnsfield Crescent, Totton, Hampshire. When their dealings with the Decayed Master were all over, each of the first eight Doctors stopped at Bob's house to see if he was all right, much to his annoyance. In 2016, Dorothea Ames became aware of deadly flower petals infesting Coal Hill Academy and the surrounding area. Dorothea attempted to force Charlie Smith to use the Cabinet of Souls to destroy the petals. However, this was averted by April MacLean using her newly gained powers as Shadow King to destroy them instead.
