Nursery Ships were saucer-like starships used as nurseries for transporting children across the galaxy. They could hold thousands of children and used levitation beams to transport them from a planet's surface to the ship. The Five-Straighten Classabindi Nursery Fleet was most likely composed of hundreds of Nursery Ships that collected Adipose from their breeding planets.

After the Matron Cofelia had seeded and bred Adipose on Earth in defiance of the Shadow Proclamation in 2009, an Intergalactic Class nursery of the Adipose First Family travelled to Earth to collect the children. (DW: Partners in Crime)
