Osumare was the homeplanet of the Osumarans. It was located in the Orion molecular cloud cluster.
Circa 1899, Jata left the planet in an alnitak class Q7 starship. The ship malfunctioned and he crashed in Wyoming. The Twelfth Doctor found Jata and offered to bring him back to Osumare in his TARDIS. (COMIC: From the Horse's Mouth) They had at least one detour along the way. (COMIC: Fear Buds)
