Panacea was a planet of healing. In a way not dissimilar to how the Fifth Doctor was always trying to get Tegan to Heathrow Airport, the Tenth Doctor made several attempts to get Majenta Pryce to Panacea. (COMIC: The Age of Ice, Ghosts of the Northern Line, The Crimson Hand) They believed that Panacea would be able to restore the memories that she had lost as a result of the Knowsall device controlled by the Memovax at Thinktwice prison. Because the Doctor had forced her to be incarcerated at that facility, (COMIC: Hotel Historia) she felt her amnesia was his fault, and therefore she demanded passage to a place that could heal her.
