Visit from the Doctor[]

Around this time, right before the 50th anniversary of the series, the Eleventh Doctor's TARDIS suddenly brought him from N-Space to this universe. While trying to figure out where he was, he met a twelve-year-old girl named Ally. Ally happened to be a fan of Doctor Who, and believed the Doctor to be Matt Smith. In order to prove he actually was the Doctor, he showed Ally and her mother the TARDIS interior. The three of them visited a convention where the Doctor came to terms with and even became amused by the fact that he was fictional. He entertained many fans and met Matt Smith himself.

The next day, the Doctor's sonic screwdriver recognised alien technology in Ally's closet. A rogue Cyberman burst out, chasing the Doctor and Ally. As they ran away, the Doctor deduced it had been sucked into the Void after the Battle of Canary Wharf and had blown a "hole" into the parallel universe which had sucked in the TARDIS. Set on cyber-converting the parallel Earth, it followed the two back to the TARDIS, which had been mistaken for the prop on set of the next Doctor Who episode being filmed. Using an experimental dimensional compass installed in the Cyberman, the Doctor gained his interdimensional location and used the TARDIS to send the Cyberman "back home". After confusing the production team and saying goodbye to Ally, he returned to his native universe. (COMIC: The Girl Who Loved Doctor Who)
