Magus Paul Neville was the head of the cult of Valdemar.
His childhood home was a recreation of Alton Towers. He poisoned his own parents out of curiosity to see what would happen.
When the cult was disbanded by the New Protectorate, he tried to find Valdemar itself while being pursued by Robert Hopkins. He used Huvan to access the higher dimensions on Ashkellia, but lost control of him. Neville and Hopkins fell through the gateway to the higher dimensions, then returned fused, doomed to fight each other. (PROSE: Tomb of Valdemar)
